Straight answers
Yes. Your calls still ring your phone. If you don't answer, the call forwards to us and the text goes out from your registered business texting line. Moving your own number over is possible but takes a few weeks, so most owners don't.
Right after the call ends unanswered. We set your phone to forward after about 20 seconds of ringing, so your own voicemail doesn't pick up first.
US carriers require every business that sends automated texts to register first. Approval usually takes a couple of weeks. We build and test while we wait.
It's set up to answer common questions in your words and book open times. It's set up not to quote prices, it tells customers they're texting with an automated assistant, and it hands the conversation to you when someone asks for a person or it isn't sure.
Your business name, a short note that you missed their call, and how to reply. It also includes "Reply STOP to opt out," which carriers require on the first message.
Tell us before your next billing date. Service stops at the end of the month you paid for. We'll export your contacts and conversations for you before we shut it off.
